Hi, I'm Sandy, the heart behind Studio One Photography.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always the one capturing moments, and over the years that passion grew into photographing weddings, families, special occasions, and the beautiful moments of everyday life.

For years, family and friends encouraged me to pursue photography professionally. After spending more than 25 years building a successful career while raising four amazing children, I finally decided it was time to follow a dream that has been with me my entire life and create Studio One Photography.

Family is at the center of everything I do. I am blessed with wonderful children, grandchildren who bring endless joy, and a loving partner whose family has become part of my own. Some of my favorite moments are spent at our family cottage, surrounded by the people I love most. Those experiences have taught me just how precious memories are and how important it is to preserve them.

My goal as a photographer is simple: to help people see the beauty that already exists within them.

One of the things I hear most often is, "I'm not photogenic." I don't believe that for a second. I believe everyone is photogenic when they feel comfortable, confident, and seen. True beauty comes from within, and the most meaningful photographs capture genuine emotion, connection, and personality.

Whether I'm photographing a family, a couple, a child, or an individual portrait, I strive to create an experience that is relaxed, enjoyable, and uplifting. I want you to walk away not only with beautiful images, but with a renewed appreciation for yourself and the people you love.

Photography is more than taking pictures. It's preserving memories, celebrating connections, and capturing the moments that tell your story.
